For many years now Dudley has been showing horses in the shows in Judged and Timed events and riding in trail rides, parades and team penning. He has spent most of the last decade serving as an Officer in Horse Organizations. He was Treasurer of the SLHSA in 1991 and 1992 and President of the SLHSA in 1993 and 1994. He took off in 1995 to have a little time to show in the registered Palomino shows where he won the National Championships in Flag Racing. In 1996 he founded the South Louisiana Saddle Club and has served as Secretary/Treasurer ever since. Some of his favorite accomplishments were winning the SLHSA overall Judged Events Reserve Championship in 1993 and the SLHSA overall Judged Events Championship saddles in 1994 and 1996 and setting the South Louisiana Saddle Club Flag Racing record in 1997 that is still unbeaten. Dudley's main goal now is to make the horse shows so enjoyable that people will have fun participating in them even if they don't always win.
